Performed with a 400 Ton press, the straightening operation is always carried out on the lower part of the bells’ covers. On these components we carry out the straightening of the flange after the welding operations, in order to facilitate the subsequent mechanical machining of chip removal by means of a carousel lathe of 3 meters in diameter present in the workshop.
